MTN is just paranoid these days and no one seems to know the reason behind their annoyance, is it because of the fine placed on them by NCC, or they are now trying to recover the money they used to pay the fine, (that is if they have payed it) I really don't know.
It is just two weeks or barely a month since MTN put a shocking stop to the famous, and cheapest tariff plan, MTN Tru Talk+, and now they're putting an end to the Exta cool service as they claimed to be directed by NCC , in their voice statement below.
"Please cascade to the associates that MTN happy hour call (Free night call) which started October 2006 has been discontinued effect tonight, as directed by NCC. Hence, all happy hours calls will be billed from tonight.
Thank you."
Maybe NCC threatened to charge and place another huge fine on them for the mid night calls or extra cool service, so they are actually forced to discontinue it, but why this particular one? It has been very helpful and what is it with this NCC of a people?
Though it is true and without a doubt that the MTN Extra cool free night which gives you the privilege to enjoy the happy hour free mid night call withing period of 12:30AM to 4:30AM been very helpful to students and youth, Like making a conference call with your family members and friends with just a minimum of N100 in your account, but has now been terminated finally.
But sorry guys it's been put to an end I don't know why am consoling you guys you're the ones that should be consoling me, am the number one fan of this service.
But if you're an extra cool lover like me, I suggest you opt for Glo to Glo mid night free call to continue enjoying the service.
Question: will NCC still stop Glo, Etisalat and Airtel from extra cool service?
